Welcome to Roshankish Tae Kwon Do Boston. We are a traditional martial arts school located in Medford (conveniently
located just off of I93) teaching the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do. Our programs (both adults and children's) combine
both the traditional and modern apects of this martial art, to provide a comprehensive self-defense and fitness
workout. Our school offers a warm and friendly training environment and our instructor team is committed to helping you
(and/or your child - If you would like details of our childrens' Tae Kwon Do Classes in Boston

Our instructor team has a wealth of experience in teaching both adults and children and has coached both groups to the
highest competitive levels e.g. Olympics and Junior Olympics. The team consists of personal trainers, martial artists
and security operatives who have taken their training and performed it in the real world. There is probably no
martial arts school in Boston that can offer such a broad, diverse and interesting instructor team.
Our program centers on teach traditional Korean Karate (Tae Kwon Do) in its purest form incorporating
traditional Korean Danjeon breathing exercises into our practice of the martial arts to ensure that our
training is a comprehensive workout for both the mind and the body. By maintaining and emphasizing the
traditional aspects of the martial arts we can help students gain all the benefits of martial arts practice,
such as: self-discipline, mental focus and self-control. If you are simply looking for an activity that will
help you de-stress and escape the pressures of modern living/society you could do no better that train with us.
Tae Kwon Do is suitable for both adults, teens and younger children and we have specific programs for each age-group. If

Tae Kwon Do Boston - Children's Programs
Our children’s program is designed to achieve the same goals but through different methods; with less of a focus on the
practice of technique and more on the development of social interaction and self discipline, using a combination of
traditional Korean methods and modern educational ones. We join these together to create a balanced program that is both:
educational, stimulating and fun and that communicates the values of: focus, self-discipline/control, team play and
respect for others. To learn more about our

Tae Kwon Do Boston - Latest Events
Roshankish Tae Kwon Do Boston - At The Deaf Olympics (Aug 2009)
Rusty Nawrocki came to the Roshankish Tae Kwon Do school in Boston as part of his final preperations before he went
off to the "2009 Deaf Olympics" in Taiwan. Rusty was the first athlete to represent the U.S. in the Deaf Olympics
at Tae Kwon Do. Both Rusty and the instructors at Roshankish Tae Kwon Do soon worked out an effective means of
communication and it wasn't long before the rest of the students were able to communicate fully with Rusty. This
was a great experience for everyone and we all wish Rusty the greatest success in the Taipei games.
Roshankish Tae Kwon Do Boston - Junior Olympics Champion (Jul 2009)
Roshankish Martial Artist Helberth took the Silver in the 2009 Tae Kwon Do Junior Olympics that was held in Texas,
making him the latest junior olympic champion from Roshankish Tae Kwon Do Boston. Although competition isn't the
aim of our childrens program, many children enjoy this side of the art and so the school takes great delight in
helping them work towards achieving competition success. Helberth understands that his medal is the result of
hard work and diligent practice and is a great reminder to him that if you work hard and set goals you can achieve
great things. To learn more about our

Roshankish Tae Kwon Do Boston - Children's Grading (Jul 2009)
July saw the latest of our childrens gradings, with more than 90 children, moving up another rank and belt. All
of our child students know that we require more than just competence in the techniques and forms. Each one will
have to have gotten written confirmation from both their teachers and parents to acknowledge that they are
attempting to live up to the moral code of standards that Roshankish Tae Kwon Do sets. Although the gradings are
tough each child gains a real sense of reward and achievement and this is acknowledged in the schools belt
ceremony that follows each Tae Kwon Do grading at our Boston Center. To learn more about our
